How to Create Related a Contact Field type

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

  1. Navigate to Settings.

  2. Select Fields.

  3. Click the green "New Field" button at the top right of the page.

  4. Create a label (in the video we used "Supervisor")

  5. Set the type to be a "related contact" type.

  6. Select Create.

  7. Navigate to your contact list.

  8. Scroll down to the field you created (in the video it was "Supervisor").

  9. Select a value for the field.

BONUS

If you have Contact Relationships turned on, you can:

  1. Navigate to the main Contacts page.

  2. Click Relationships.

  3. Pick your relationship type.

  4. Select the field you just created.

  5. Create the relationship graph for contacts.

  6. View the org chart trees for contact relationships.
